The above pic is of Tim, age 5, the proud "Deputy of the Day". He is being held by two members of the City of Rockford Police Department. They, and many of their co-workers, brought a dozen emergency vehicles, including the K9 unit, right to Tim's house. He rode in a hook and ladder truck, "arrested" his brother Steve, made the lights and sirens go in a real police car, and received a ton of gifts, his favorite being a Police windbreaker and Fire Chief badge.

These men also ordered pizza, played cards with Tim, and tolerated the entire neighborhood hanging around. They are a great bunch of guys. Tim is lucky to count them as friends.
